Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains how ComboCentral collects, uses, and protects your personal information.

1. Information We Collect

Account data: username, email address, hashed password, avatar, server, and (if provided) your PayPal/Revolut handle for escrow or boost payment purposes. Usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps, and referral source (including referral links). Content data: listing text, images, messages, reviews, and bids you submit on the platform.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to: operate and improve the platform, process trades and escrow transactions, send important notifications, respond to support requests, detect fraud and abuse, prevent duplicate/abusive referral signups, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Payments

ComboCentral does not process or store card or bank details, and does not use an automated payment processor. Real-money payments (PayPal/Revolut) are sent directly by you to the other party or to the destination shown in-app, and are never handled or held by ComboCentral.

4. Sharing Your Data

We do not sell your personal data. Limited data is shared with: escrow agents/staff handling a dispute you're party to, and other users only as necessary for a trade you've agreed to (e.g. your in-game character name, server).

5. Data Retention

We retain account and trade data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward for fraud prevention, dispute records, and legal compliance.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by opening a support ticket. Some data (e.g. records of completed trades and escrow cases) may be retained even after account deletion where needed for dispute history or legal reasons.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical measures (password hashing, session security, rate limiting) to protect your account. No system is 100% secure — please use a strong, unique password and enable two-factor authentication if available.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted via a site announcement.
